1st zakum run

Mayb we will have 1st zakum run in this week. I will try to make to pt or less ppl to go. You have to register yourself to join zakum run, but with considerable lvl only and you have get zakum quest done. The guide of zakum quest is in this blog. I will plan further when we hav the 12 ppl selected.

Currently, there are 7 confirmed members to join the run, the rest need to inform me or register yourself here.

Time, drop sharing, helming list etc will be discussed later.

My opinion bout current fornax "economy" is that meso price is dropping like hell. Means for example, having 100m last time is considerably rich but now 100m is nothing. Last time farming at bbs and sell leech for a short period will make a bs rich, but now it just help you to survive the trend. So trading is needed to make you rich. Fm traders made fm price soar, we can become victims, or we can take advantage of it, and gain meso.

I think that, possessing valuable scrolls is better than having meso now, coz now scroll price show no trend of decreasing.

Zakum Quest

4th jobbers should do zakum quest when they are free.

Here are simple guide for zak quest

Level 1 : mine maze

Just go in there, find 7 key, go to 16-5 and drop 7 keys in front of the big box, wait it drop a quest etc, loot it and talk to npc to complete quest.

We run gpq last week for 2 rounds, but we still ranked no. 10. Its fine bcoz our main priority is to gather member for activity, but not for ranking and reward =)

We get 1 chain lightning 30 sb from gpq~~

We will start gpq record next time so that each time we have a time target to break

Scarlion :

We killed scarlion on sunday afternoon. Our speed is fine altot its not full strength of our guild. Lolli,yarmi, darky, zuimong is left to kill b3, illusion rush and sophia heal. Unfortunately yachiru dced, missing his helm chance, and for unknown reason sophia rush to scarlion when its hp is 5% and is killed == left yarmi the only vip in this run. We got 3 helm and darky rehelmed again for 2 times.

1, Members will get zak helm based on waiting list. But this time waiting list will be completely random and based on luck, I will tell more later.

2, 90% of earning from zak drop will be shared by bossing squad, 10% goes to guild fund.

3, Members who need zak drop can buy it at 50% of market price.(bossing squad may negotiate with this, for one time change only)

4, I probably not able to join zak run in this month, and maple got some sort of bug which makes some members unable to login or keep dc, but i will try to make it work. Members in this meantime should lvl up more and bulk up their attack.

5, mvp will be chosen from each run.

6, More details will be discussed, when we are further on with our plan.

guild announcement

A lengthy announcement again, so long since i last updated, I just type in anythng that I have in mind, but it should be everything you necessarily need to know from me.

1, Guild will reorganize with different ppl bcoming jr master - holeman, wenjing, aliciatang2.
Now jr master speaks for me, when im not around, and decides any guild event or matter that may happen. Its not easy to keep members organized, so please listen to them.

2, New member requires at least lvl70 to join guild from now on.

3, We wont be running scarlion at this meantime for 3 reason
-preparing for something bigger (well not that big actually)
-most of our members are helmed
-I will not helm new members 1st considering that some took helm n left guild using wateva excuse.

4, Guild will need a conduct code, and its simple, - be nice to guild members at anytime. Take this rule seriously. Repeat : take this rule seriously

5, We have 2 new alliance here with devolution the newest 1. We look forward for any chance of cooperation which will benefit both guild.

6, Feizhu is on a long break, but our plan will carry on without him.

7, Guild slot is expanded to 65slot, please dont abuse guild slot.

8, I hope to maintain guild member lvl average at 100 lvl.

9, zak quest will be carried on soon together. Zak boss members will be informed. If you are interested, you may ask for slot but you are not guaranteed to be able to join 1st run. But there will surely be more runs in the future. So dont get dissapointed if u are not in the 1st run.

10, Having new alliance is a good thing, be nice to ally member,-- if they are nice to us too.

11, Any new suggestion for guild? pls post here again. ( I will focus on suggestions that focus on guild improvement and members' benefit, instead of individual's one)

12, We don't need so much guild fund bcoz most will be used to expand guild only and we have around 20m+ guild fund. I need someone or more than one person who is willing to help guild sell thng as i cant sell them all alone.

13, Ask what you can do for others before expecting what other can do for you, key to be respected by others.

3, new town is out, and i found that the samurai boss is quite easy to kill(with okok exp ). If you dont know how to go or dont know how to kill(for range attacker), ask me. I will find 1 day bring you all go.

Monday scar~

We go for scarlion again today (4th consecutive run, tiring ==)

for 1st run~ babyheal dced~ which makes us lack of healer immediately. We think of regrouping the party. Auntie bella used her hero to help us, and we prepared for 2nd run.

2nd run member : yarmi, miko, holeman, zhaoyun, zuimong, darknessmg, burstmode, wenjing. blastmode, lolli, bella, burst

The speed is nice, we downed b1 and b2 pretty fast, with only yarmi dced. At b3, we have to make 1 attacker pt only becoz only darknessmg can heal(wenjing afk). So the party member is darknessmg, zhaoyun, bella, miko, lolli, holeman. Nothing reli went wrong except that feizhu forgot to keep zuimong away and makes zuimong killed =S. Then something went wrong, holeman probably 4got to pot as darkness is lagging n is killed by scar. Its time to show our guild mummy's power!! wenjing(controlled by bella using 2nd com) used her freshly learnt ress to ressurrect holeman and holeman is given 2nd chance to fight again.

We continued to kill again for a long moment, scarlion is almost dead, and something went wrong~ darknessmg is killed!! healer killed is a big problem. Bella go and check mummy's ress cooldown status, and it seems that mummy can ress again! During reforming pt, lolli is killed == but tat is not a problem coz ress and be used to revived whole party, mummy used her skill to ress lolli n darkness. Finally scar is killed!

We have 3 helm , darknessmg, blastmode and mummy is helmed.

scarlion last night

We managed to down scarlion last night, luckily because feizhu brought backup. From 2 pt , members left and dced until 1 pt left.

That is a lucky night, initially everyone tot only 3 helmed is dropped, which is good enough. However, after a sack of meso is looted, we found another helm behind it. And after another monster card is looted, another helmed is found again, means we had 5 helm dropped that night!
Darky wan to rehelm again coz unsatisfied with 1st helm, but after rehelmed, the helm is worse ==

anyway, it is a good run with 4 ppl helmed (miko, zhaoyun, holeman, dark)

We also have 1 golden nisrock , 1 battle hammer, 1 spirit claw 30

hope tonight we will be lucky also

We definitely have a lot of member, but i believe some are not so active. This is ok but all please try to lvl above lvl100, makes our guild looks stronger =)

Scarlion Run on Sat night

We did our 2nd successful scarlion run last night. It is a tough match, took around 3hr@@ almost all died and some dced.

Participants: Aii, Miko, Zhaoyun, Moob, Burst, Darky, Spear, Cleric, Mantou, lolli, illu, Jazz

12 members are divided into 2 pt, each pt have mw, se, haste and hb.

We started well, b1 is downed pretty fast but zhaoyun dced, left moob push alone again. We took b2 easily oso. But thing gets disasterous at b3. Miko stand too close n is killed by scar. Jazz dced, left 1 se-er. Thn lolli dced too, left 2 attacker - darky and burst. Burst died also later @@. Left darky with few set of stars left. Illu gotta join the battle or it will take 4ever to down scar. But thn illu is killed again! Spear join the battle, and is killed, means no more hb soon. Moob try not to touch the boss but at last tio hit ko also.

Whats left in the map is aii, mantou, cleric. What can 2 bishop and 1 priest do to a scarlion? genesis and magic claw! Things get hopeless, but aii said fight till die, dont leave da map. So 3magicians keep attack when got chance, and try to tele around the map to avoid being pinned by scar. Pot is running out for 3 of them, but as well as hp of scarlion. Eventually, out of everyone's expectation, scarlion is killed wit 3 helm dropped!

This is probably the 1st scarlion downed by bishop =X
Anyway, everyone fought well and contributed to down the boss.

new scarlion rule

i found that many members wan scarlion helm badly that even some think that themselves are so previleged that they can get vip slot in 1st run even though our bossing squad members havent get. Some left guild, which is a good thing 2 us.

Think for bossing squad members' sake, and THINK OF YOUR OWN POSITION.

I can only say few words, which are definitely true.
1. I will helm you.
2. It wont be faster than bossing squad members.
3. If you wan faster helm, come help us instead of keep bugging.
4. How to let us know you want to help? Check urself in at blog or bbs
5. Follow the waiting list, dont think helping will get urself helmed in the 1st run.

New scarlion rule:
Members are compulsary to help in scarlion run for at least 3times to get helmed. Those helmed earlier have to come back and help other for 3times.

again, follow the waiting list, and dont think you wait means u can get, help us.

squad full means squad full, dont say we dont give you slot, register earlier, if you check bbs or blog often, you will know, if slot is full, means others are faster or more active than u, dont blame us.

Scarlion Run(Last Saturday)

We had 2 scarlion run on last saturday. 1st is when afternoon and 2nd is at midnight. This is the 1st organized scarlion run of our guild.

1st run participants : aii, zuimong, x3mikki, lolli, moob, burst, darky, spear n cleric couple, illusion, bloodwarrior

We dont have luck on 1st run, aii dc at b1, makes the 2 pt run became 1 pt only. Illusion dced oso. We downed b1 and b2 very quickly, but we failed to down scarlion in this attempt.

2nd run participants:aii, tang, zuimong, zhaoyunx3, lolli, moob, burst, darky, spear n cleric couple, illusion. feizhubs

We were even well prepared dis time. illusion dced quickly, but dis time we have 1 more hber.
When b2 entering b3, aii dced due 2 stupid maple error again. The rest kept on fighting. Thn disaster happens, suddenly many people die in b3, and 2 nl run out of star. Those who left fighting is feizhubs, burst, mob, and spearcouple can only help hb, others stand there and watch.
Moob solo-ed in pushing, feizhu solo-ed in healing, burst solo-ed in attacking at b3, it is torturing for them, but finally they made it. Scarlion is killed, with 3 helm dropped. They deserve to get the 3 helms, we also have spirit claw lvl30 skill book, and boot of speed 60% -.-

announcement (13/8/2009)

1.Our guild member slot extended twice this week. Lolli sponsored partlu for the 1st time and burst sponsored partly twice. Thanks to them.

2.We have saw many new members coming into our guild. Welcome them =) new member pls take time read bbs and blog to understand more about our system, and jiayou train all. Hope to see all of you will be 3 digit in lvl =)

3.Since we have a lot more members now, i hope guild can maintain at least 6 ppl login at anytime.(except midnight and morning), so all try to be active in guild^^

4.Scarlion - we probaby will go for scarlion dis weekend if we can form a squad. Who wan to join have to register here(comment space) or at guild bbs. This run will be for bossing squad only(no vip slot), means only 4 those who have the ability to help out in bossing.

5.Weekend activity - anyone can think of any activity for this weekend?(relaxing 1, unlike scarlion), we have not been gathering for quite a long time, pls give ideas of what can we do during this weekend, definitely will make our members's friendship grow =)

what is the authority of a jr in this guild?

1. can add anyone into guild without permission from master.
2. can lead guild member to gpq run,(no need master permission) or organize events.(pls tell master about event earlier)

What a jr need to do?

1. self initiative -- know what is right to do at the right time.
-- can solve some matters when master is not around.
(etc: whn members argue, do something if situation turns bad, or simply too noisy)
2. able to lead -- can lead members anytime, not juz when got event
3. creativity -- any form of creativity that will make this guild better.

What is the previlege of a jr.?

I cant think of any in exact. But i need jr to help me maintain guild. I hope they feel honoured and willing to hold the post. But of coz if any jr want to step down its ok. Just tell me.

We went to gpq again today.

1st run

We done everythng well. Tray is doing a good job. He learnt from us during past time at stage 1 and he could do well without others' help today. Prodatz and tensa are learning from us and i expect them to master it pretty soon. Stage 2, 3, 4 is easily done. We are experienced, as usual =). Boss is downed very fast. Our attackers are nice^^. We get 1 showdown skill book again today. But its hard 2 sell ==

2nd run

Everythng is done well... until 1 part... tat moob ah... he took a spear... but he tries 2 jump another part of the room, and he broke the seal.. then he realized that one ppl cant loot 2 spear. So everyone must focus on that part trying to get the spear. Unfortunately, nobody succeed to get it in 180sec, and it dissapeared... finally our gpq failed so early at stage 2. Noob mob.

After this pq.. We ranked at top 8 in fornax, we hope to achieve 1st page in the rock of honour after next pq.

I intend to make scarlion run more organised by having a fixed squad. Those members of this squad will be our main attackers and supporters. When scarlion run is on, I will 1st call these members. I will also pay more attention to these members, and mayb help them n train them more. But members joining this squad will also need to work harder to sharpen your weapon and raise ur damage. (dont give yourself too much pressure, juz you nid to work harder doesnt mean you need to achieve 50k damage per skill tomorrow)

We need healer, all form of attackers( bm, nl, captain, xbm etc) and rusher (viper n rush warrior).
No. of members in this squad is not restricted. But I may not sign you in if you are too far from being able to help yet.

I will also assign a squad leader which will definitely not myself.

Squad leader leads the squad to scarlion, not me. So he/she have to be able to communicate and lead well, and more important, have a good relationship with members.

---II : members who intend to get vip slot need to donate 10m to guild

Little announcement

1.ThugReborn selling Angel ray basic, and bishop wan then go offer him.

2.Every night we go scarlion or gpq if enough ppl, we go scarlion only if we have enough attacker online. (Enough ppl doesnt mean ai must be there, jr. can lead)

1st Scarlion attempt

Our guild started our 1st scarlion attempt on monday night. We were too free at that moment, feizhu was tired of spamming, so we called for a scarlion run.

We had a hard time forming party because we have 7 ppl going 2 scarlion, and the odd one out will not have heal and hb. We had a good suggestion, that was to leave moob out as the odd one as we all agreed that his life is worthless. But then he keep #$*#@$#@$ there so we have to pt him to keep him quiet.

1st scarlion run,
Ai, feizhu's viper, moob, burst, darky, zhaoyun

1st run is basically a waste as Ai dced at b1, so we have to start it over again.

2nd scarlion run,
Ai, Zhaoyun, zuimong, moob, burst, darky
everything was done well, rusher did quite a good job as it was their 1st scarlion try. We kill b1.
When b2 left 40% hp, feizhu's house connection broke down, zuimong n zhaoyun dced. So our scarlion run cannot be continued. Ai summoned targa for fun as we could not down scarlion anymore.

Guild PQ on saturday midnite

We started at around 11.30pm. We did a total of 3 round pq which makes our guild ranking become no. 9 in fornax.

1st round :
Participants : Ai, Lolli, Mob, Burst, Zhaoyun, Tray(koc), Stylo, XiaoAi
Process :Things started well from beginning. 1st stage is well done, jump quests were done in rather short moment, but at the mastermind part(stage 3), we are stucked a bit, being failed at the 1st attempt(7 tries). But we were able to make it, stage 4 well done, all part is done very quickly. Time to down damn er goth. Boss fight is not so difficult, we faced a little bit of difficulty being dispelled quite often by tat dumb boss. However, our sweet attacker lolli, our tough dk zhaoyun, "pro" viper moob, almost- hero xiaoAi, almost-viper stylo, ranger burst, and boss Ai were able to prove that er goth is nothing to us. And we were able to defeat him.

Reward : lvl30 ninja storm skill book, 1 lvl30 chain lightning skill book

2nd round:
Participants : Ai, Lolli, zhaoyun, gogo(noob id), zuimong, darky, burst
Process : This round is done very quickly, all of us in the squad are experienced enof to know what to do next. Stage 1 and jump quest were done in one breath. But we were stucked a bit at mastermind, but it took us no time to get it done, proceed to 2nd jump quest, done again, bossing, easy, some casualties in our squad but we made it to the bonus stage.

Reward : ninja storm lvl30 again, lvl30 showdown

3rd round:
Participants : Ai, Lolli, zhaoyun, gogo(noob id), zuimong, darky, burst
process : This round is as quick as storm, we auto position ourself in the post we nid to do, no instruction is needed, but we faced problem in the 1st jump quest, probably tat everyone is tired(2am at that time), we lost patience and it took us quite some time to get jump quest done.
But at the mastermind part, we win bak our time, just 1st 3 attempt and we passed the stage. 4th stage is done quickly. Bossing stage is easy as expected.

Some may thing it is time consuming and a wastage of time as you can go lvling, but in my opinion, friendship is more important, i want my guild members to be friends instead of maplers where their affairs are only trade, training, other sorts of in-game benefits. Guild event on 31/7/2009

Tonight's guild event is the trial for tomorrow's guild event of "find the right person". Ai played a noob char and hide in various location in victoria island. Some members participated and earned member points.

Round 1: Ai in the burning land 5
Most member is searching at the wrong location, either rocky road(east), or west domain of perion, where ai is actually hiding at burning land, bottom portal of perion. Darky was the 1st to search this area and he found the right person! gratz darky - 200 member point.

Round 2: Ai swimming in natillus dock
The given range of area is lilth harbour, henesys, and natillus dock. Ai is actually hiding in a "swimming pool" inside natillus dock, tracking those participants. Many search only around the area of henesys and lilth harbour. It seems like ai's hiding location is a bit unexpectable. Burst even search the wrong channel. However, Queenie found ai pretty fast in the pool as if a girl's instinct is always right. gratz queenie - 200 member point.

Round 3: Dead Ai in Drake hunting area
This round tooks a long time as most member cant find ai. Actually ai has travelled a long way into drake hunting zone, beyond evil eye cave and ant tunnel path, an unexpected area for a noob to go. Ai is killed by drake, but he waited there for quite a long time until he gave tips to participant not to search ellinia. Darky lolli and queenie search sleepywood, but not deep enough into drake hunting zone. SUDDENLY, an unexpectable participant pass by. Ai saw her but pretended not to be the right person coz she seemed blur blur. Celeste has juz found da right person and won round 3. Gratz auntie^^ -250point

We somehow got enough members to join tonight's guild pq. Everything is doing very fine and we even get all quest done 45min earlier than last guild pq, thanks to cooperation of every members. Special thanks to tray for his attempt to help us to pass the jump quest where only below lvl30 member can do. We cannot pass this stage without him.

The boss moment is a bit disasterous. Ai's lagginess screwed things up. (me f3, im not supposed to die facing this noob boss f3), however, other attackers' attempt to kill tat noob ergoth is very appreciated. Celeste's hard work in healing da main pt is also a very brave job as shes only a lvl 83 priest. We killed er goth, but unable to finish off their bodyguards within time limit.

We will try harder next time, ergoth, say prayer before you die !

4th job Advancement

Many members are advancing 4th job in our guild and I found that most of them dunno how to do job advancement quest. Here are the steps to advance 4th job, simple and sweet like a lollipop -)

1, talk to your 3rd job instructor at elnath chiefs' resident.
2, Go to minar forest(above valley of antelope, **location of valley of antelope is 1st map left of skynest2**), talk to your 4th job instructor.
Now you got 2 choice,
Choice I - kill manon and griffey to get the heroic star and heroic pentagon.
Go to kenta area and hunt down this 2 fat boss and get heroic star and heroic pentagon. Talk to 4th job instructor again and you will advance to 4th job.

Choice II -Talk to chief tatamo at leafre town to enable the quest "tatamo's suggestion."
Travel to ludibrium. Go all way down to eos tower 44th floor and buy the secret scroll(cost 10m). Back to tatamo and complete the quest to get heroic star and heroic pentagon. Talk to 4th job instructor and you will advance to 4th job.

This week's event is find da right person!!!!

Event detail is easy:
i will tell you a char that is dressed in a specific way(wearing lollipop, wear a sporty cap etc)
and I will give you a certain area to find him/her (victoria island etc)

Participants who met this char can report his/her ign to Event master to see whether they get the right person. Winner may get bonus guild point or small present.^^

Participants will get bonus guild point also.
